iPad Settings

Settings are personal. Make them your own. Here are some things to try.
  • Home wifi - When you get home, put in your wifi info and password. If your wifi is not working at home, try simply turning this setting off and on. http://www.apple.com/support/ipad/wifi
  • System services - turn off time zones to save battery life
  • Brightness and backgrounds - choose your options
  • Wifi internet turn syncing on

eMail

  • Setup Canyons email
  • Choose "go back 1000" to see more email
  • Create a signature in your iPad email
  • Set Canyons email as your default account

Safari

  • Clear history and clear cookies regularly
  • Turn on "private browsing". This will eliminate storage of browsing history
  • Block pop-ups. They can be turned on by individual sites.

From You Home Page - Creating Folders

  • Hold down an icon on your desktop until icons begin to wiggle (If you touch the X you will delete the app)
  • Drag apps on top of each other to create folders and name the folders.
  • You have several pages you can put folders on. Suggestion: Put kid apps on the first page, personal apps on another page.
